Privacy policy : The Trawool Estate is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone, letter, email or SMS. Normally, the type of personal information collected by us will include your name, address, telephone number and email address. We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:
To provide marketing information to you about our products and services; and
To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.
If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe. If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Governing law : The Law of Victoria governs your use and occupation of the property during this reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria.

Copyright : The information, text, graphics, images, sounds, links and all other information and software published or otherwise contained on this site (“the contents”) are the exclusive property of The Trawool Estate and, except as authorised on this site, may not be copied, distributed, displayed, reproduced or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of The Trawool Estate.

However, errors and/or omissions may occur, The Trawool Estate disclaims any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever relating to this website and any links to or from this website, including, without limitation, warranties as to merchantability, non-infringement of intellectual property, or fitness for any particular purpose.

The Trawool Estate does not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of the contents, including, without limitation, any information relating to prices or availability. The Trawool Estate will from time to time revise the contents and/or the products, services and resources described on this site, and reserves the right to make such changes without any obligation to notify past, current or prospective visitors or users of this site.

Damage:  In the event that damage is caused to the property (dining spaces, accommodation rooms, outside areas etc) during your event, the Security Bond or a percentage of the Security Bond will be retained by The Trawool Estate to cover the cost of cleaning or restoration. Where costs of cleaning or restoration exceed the Security Bond, you will be provided with an invoice to cover the costs.  

Variation to Guest Numbers following Final Payment: Final numbers are to be confirmed upon receipt of the Final Payment. The Trawool Estate will only refund reduced guest numbers to a maximum of 10% of the total number of guests booked. 

Food and Beverage Package Confirmation:  Food and Beverage Package selection confirmation is required 30 day prior to the Event. The Trawool Estate will make every effort to accommodate dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, low gluten and lactose free.

Dining Cancellation Policy:  $50 per person cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation is less than 24hrs notice or no show.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  All deposits are non-refundable. In respect of Final Payments for Events, no refund will be offered for any cancellations due to change of mind. Refunds will only be offered due to extreme circumstances and in agreement with The Trawool Estate.  
If you need to cancel or change your accommodation booking, please contact us at your earliest convenience. If this cancellation or change is made prior to 30 days of your stay, you will incur no penalties and the full amount you have paid will be returned to you in 6-12 days.
If you cancel your booking within 12 hours of making the booking you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel or change your event and/or accommodation booking closer to the date, you will incur the following penalties; 30 days prior 10% penalty, 14 days prior 25% penalty, 7 days prior 50% penalty, 48hours prior 100% penalty.

Cancellation due to COVID-19: Rest assured we have lived through the uncertainty of the pandemic, and if we do have restrictions in place that affect your travel to us, we have a simple system of putting your booking on hold, and rebooking you, when it suits you to do so. Rebooking incurs a $50 fee. If you really have to cancel, the above cancellation policy applies. Re-bookings are transferrable to alternate names. There is no expiry on the re-booking and we work with you to find a date and time that suits you. Please contact our reception to arrange.

In the event that your wedding or function is affected by COVID-19, your deposit and all monies paid will be transferrable to a new date. If you choose to cancel your event entirely, the above cancellation policy is applied.   

Use of Facilities: You and your guests agree to use the facilities and venue of The Trawool Estate in a lawful, safe and proper manner and comply with all reasonable requirements and directions of The Trawool Estate. 
There will be no adjustments or alterations to the fittings, facilities, or equipment of The Trawool Estate without the express written consent of the General Manager of The Trawool Estate. 

Intoxication: While we wish for you and your guests to have the best time possible during your event at The Trawool Estate, RSA and Liquor Licensing will be followed at all times. If guests become intoxicated, it is at the discretion of the on-shift manager or supervisor to decide on the appropriate action which may include requiring the intoxicated guest to leave the premises 

Dress Code: The Trawool Estate is a luxury hotel. As a minimum, a Dress Code of smart casual attire applies whilst within the main building of The Trawool Estate.  

Noise Management: To ensure the ongoing amenity of our neighbours and other guests at Trawool, staff will monitor noise levels and where noise is excessive or unreasonable, may request your event reduce or cease noise related activities. 

Force Majeure: The Trawool Estate will not be responsible for the cancellation of any event due to matters outside of its control including but not limited to, flood, fire, inclement weather, public health emergencies, power failure, acts of terrorism, strikes or industrial action. 

Liability : The Trawool Estate shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the use of (or inability to use) this website or its contents.

BYO of food and drinks : The Trawool Estate does not have a licence for BYO of alcohol on the grounds. Please note we do not accept outside food and beverages to be consumed on the grounds.

Payments: Any bills from the mini bar, restaurant, bottleshop and accommodation is payable before you leave the estate. You must provide a credit card upon checking in to the accommodation and this will be charged if you leave without paying.

Room Amenities: We have many items in the rooms for you to enjoy using during your stay. If you choose to take these home with you, or break items in the room during your stay, you will be charged accordingly. Returned items will be refunded.
